Co-operation is what farming has been built on since the abandonment of the single strip system, and this just scales it up to a cross-country system. What’s wrong with that? Er, nothing. It’s what human beings do best, when they’re not busy killing each other. This European Union thing sounds like quite a good idea actually. Maybe the UK should think of joining?
